June 29 AM/GM Reminder and Other News

Hello Coop Member,

The Coop’s Annual and General Meeting is on Tuesday, June 29 at 7:00 pm via Zoom. Come to hear the presentation by the Coop’s outside auditing firm of the Audited Financial Statement for the fiscal year that ended on Sunday, Jan 31, 2021. In addition, at the Annual Meeting, you will have an opportunity to hear from the five Board of Director candidates and cast your vote in that important election. Register to Attend the AM/GM and VOTE

  • To participate in and vote at the June AM/GM, you must register by 5:00 pm on Tue., June 29: https://www.foodcoop.com/gmsignup/
  • Members who pre-register, and are eligible to attend, will receive a Zoom invite and further materials via email on June 29 after 5:00 pm.
  • Get prepared for the AM/GM by reading the meeting agenda here: https://www.foodcoop.com/gmagenda/
  •  No work credit is given for your virtual participation.


After the presentation by the Coop’s outside auditors, time is provided for questions from members. This is your yearly opportunity to ask the Coop’s auditor questions about the Coop’s finances. Member Labor WILL RESUME in MID-July

We want to take this opportunity to again remind members that the member-labor work requirement will resume in mid-July. Further details about the resumption of our member-labor program will be sent in other all-Coop emails and be posted to social media and foodcoop.com over the next couple of weeks. It is critical that all members pay attention to these important notifications from the Coop to learn about how you will sign-up for your work shifts and use Member Services to manage your Coop membership.

If you need assistance setting up a Member Services account or do not have internet/computer access to do so, please visit the Second Floor Service Desk to receive help from a staff member. The Service Desk is staffed daily from 8a-8p.

Finally, if you are not available to resume working a shift in July, please notify the Coop now. Your notification will help us a lot in our planning. There are several options to take a leave from the Coop or request a work exemption. Further information is available on Member Services or from a staff member at the Service Desk.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the AM/GM on June 29. Your participation in our governance process is important to our member-labor participatory model. The AM/GM is where you get to discuss and vote on important proposals and also to hear directly from the General Coordinator team about the finances and operations of your Coop.
