June 25 Annual Meeting Reminder
Hello Coop Member,
The Coop’s combined Annual and General Meeting is on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:00 pm at the Picnic House in Prospect Park. Representatives from Cornick, Garber & Sandler, the Coop’s CPA auditor, will present the Audited Financial Statement for the fiscal year that ended on Sunday, January 28, 2024. In addition, you will have an opportunity to hear from the nine Board of Director candidates and cast your vote in that important election. During the General Meeting portion of the evening, there will also be an election for the Coop’s Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary).
We suggest you review the Audited Financial Statement, Board of Directors candidate statements, and draft May GM minutes in advance of the meeting. After the Audited Financial Statement presentation, time is provided for members’ questions. This is your yearly opportunity to ask the Coop’s auditor questions about the Coop’s finances.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION
Members have three ways to vote in the Board of Directors election:
- Online voting – An email was sent to your email address on file at the Coop. Look for an email with the subject line “Cast Your Votes in the PSFC Board of Directors Election AND Coop Officers Election – June 2024”. Deadline for online voting is Tuesday, June 25 at 12 pm.
- Paper proxy ballot—Paper proxy ballots are available at the Coop Corner in the first-floor elevator lobby or the Membership Office. They must be deposited in the ballot box by Monday, June 24, at 6:00 p.m.
- Paper ballot at the Annual Meeting
We strongly encourage all members to vote! The election of new Board members is one of the important responsibilities of Coop membership.
We look forward to seeing many of you on June 25. Your participation in our governance process is important to our member-labor participatory model.
