Henry Avocado Inc. Whole Avocados, March 26, 2019

Henry Avocado Corporation is voluntarily recalling California-grown whole avocados sold in bulk at retail stores because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Henry Avocado is issuing this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution due to positive test results on environmental samples taken during a routine government inspection at its California packing facility. There are no reported illnesses associated with this recall.
The Coop does not stock these products and has not stocked them this year.

Satur Farms, January 23, 2019

Satur Farms, 3705 Alvah’s Lane, Cutchogue, NY 11935, is voluntarily recalling Baby Spinach and Mesclun with the specific lot numbers listed below because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella: 

Spinach Lot #18494
Spinach Lot #18513
Mesclun Lot #18520

There have been no reported illnesses. The Coop has only stocked Satur Farms Mesclun Salad 5 oz Lot number 18520S. Twenty-eight members purchased this product and each have been contacted directly. The Coop does not currently stock these products.

Adam Bros. Farming, Inc., December 13, 2018

Adam Bros. Farming, Inc. of Santa Maria, California is recalling red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower harvested on November 27 through 30, 2018 out of an abundance of caution, because it may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (E. Coli O157:H7).

The Coop does not stock these products and has not stocked them in the past.

Jennie-O Turkey Store Sales, November 15, 2018

Jennie-O Turkey Store Sales is recalling approximately 91,388 pounds of raw ground turkey products that may be associated with an outbreak of Salmonella. The Coop does not stock these products and has not stocked them in the past.

Jennie-O is voluntarily recalling raw ground turkey products produced on September 11, 2018. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. The following products are subject to recall:

  • 1-lb. packages of “Jennie-O GROUND TURKEY 93% LEAN | 7% FAT” with “Use by” dates of 10/01/2018 and 10/02/2018.
  • 1-lb. packages of “Jennie-O TACO SEASONED GROUND TURKEY” with a “Use by” date of 10/02/2018.
  • 1-lb. packages of “Jennie-O GROUND TURKEY 85% LEAN | 15% FAT” with a “Use by” date of 10/02/2018.
  • 1-lb. packages of “Jennie-O ITALIAN SEASONED GROUND TURKEY” with a “Use by” date of 10/02/2018.

Pepperidge Farm, July 23, 2018

Pepperidge Farm has been notified by one of its ingredient suppliers that whey powder applied to four varieties of crackers has been the subject of a recall due to the potential presence of Salmonella. The Coop does not stock these products and has not stocked them in the past.

Pepperidge Farm is voluntarily recalling these four varieties of Goldfish crackers. The products were distributed throughout the United States.

  • Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar
  • Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion
  • Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
  • Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
