February GM Reminder and BOD Submission Deadline

The Coop invites you to attend the February General Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7:00 p.m. The General Meeting is held over Zoom, and all Coop member-owners are invited.

* Registration is required to attend. Please sign-up by 5:00 pm on Tue., Feb. 28

* The Zoom invite will be emailed after 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 28.

* Get prepared by reading the GM agenda, preliminary 52-week Financial Statement and
Draft January 2319 General Meeting minutes. There are no voting items on the February agenda.

We strongly urge members to attend the monthly General Meeting. The GM is where you discuss and deliberate on member-submitted agenda items, listen to reports from issue-oriented member committees, and vote on proposals or committee elections. It is also your opportunity to hear directly from the staff about the finances and operations of your Coop. Meaningful member participation strengthens the Coop’s governance system, ensures that the Coop’s Board of Directors hears from a broad swath of the Coop membership, and upholds the democratic principle at the heart of cooperatives.

INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

Nominations for the Board of Directors will close on Wednesday, March 1! There is one open Board position. If you wish to place your name into nomination, you must declare your candidacy by submitting a statement of up to 750 words to gazettesubmissions@psfc.coop. Candidates may also opt to include a small photo for online publication. The deadline for candidacy submission is Wednesday, March 1.  Check out the Linewaiters Gazette for more information.
