March 28 General Meeting Reminder

Hi Coop Member,

The Coop invites you to attend the March General Meeting on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. The General Meeting is held over Zoom, and all Coop member-owners are invited.

• Registration is required to attend. Please sign-up by 5:00 pm on Tue., March 28
• The Zoom invite will be emailed after 5:00 p.m. on March 28.
• Get prepared by reading the GM agenda, preliminary 4-week Financial Statement, and Draft February 2023 General Meeting minutes.

There are two voting items on the March agenda:

• Election of members to the Dispute Resolution Committee
• Changes to the Coop’s Mark-up

We encourage all members to attend the monthly General Meeting. The GM is where you deliberate on member-submitted agenda items, listen to reports from issue-oriented member committees, and vote on proposals or committee elections. It is also your opportunity to hear directly from the staff about the finances and operations of your Coop. Meaningful member participation strengthens the Coop’s governance system, ensures that the Coop’s Board of Directors hears from a broad swath of the Coop membership, and upholds the democratic principle at the heart of cooperatives.

We hope you take this opportunity to learn more about your Coop, see its democratic governance system in action, and exercise your right to have your voice heard by the Board.
